The name “Nicodemus” (translated in French means gullible) Was it naive to question Jesus…
Has a 17th century Christian touched on an insight…
doubting the messenger devoids his message…
later it was suggested it was Latin for “non compos mantis”…not of sound mind or foolishly blind…
Motives for questioning Jesus are of real concern to our faith not just in what He said and did but to Him…
being God… but in Him not just representing but the fullness of God… Jesus is God!
